Scott received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Truman State University (formerly Northeast Missouri State University). Scott is an expert in oligonucleotide solutions for large scale manufacturing. He’s been selling fluid management equipment for Asahi Kasei Bioprocess for over 16 years and resides in St. Louis, Missouri. In his free time, Scott makes a mean pulled pork and brisket.
Tom holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Osnabrück and is working as Sales Manager for Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America at the European Fluid Management division AKBD in Cologne, Germany, leading the sales teams in Europe and Asia. He has expertise in technical sales and support for bioprocess equipment (upstream and downstream) with a profound experience gained from more than 19 years of planning works
Tristan holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University. He brings a wide range of experience in sales and business development in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, including expertise in fluid management, contract research and manufacturing, as well as instrumentation and sample preparation. In addition, he has a background as a research biochemist and analytical chemist.
Area Sales Manager
Leon is based in Shanghai, as Area Sales Manager, responsible for the sales and marketing of Fluid Management products within China. He has worked in the bioprocess industry for 15 years since obtaining his Master’s in Biochemistry. Leon has excellent working knowledge and hands-on experience in process development as well as process analytic technology. Having worked as a process development scientist for 4 years, he understands customer needs and endeavors to be a trusted advisor.
Account Manager
Martin has been working as an Account Manager for the Fluid Management Division of Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America (AKBA) for more than three years. Before joining Asahi, he worked for several years as a Technical Consultant for lab-scale chromatography columns after completing his Master’s degree in biotechnology and process engineering at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. Martin is part of our sales team and is responsible for Central & South Europe.

Senior Account Manager
Márton is a seasoned professional in the field of pharmaceutical bioengineering, holding a master’s degree from the University of Munich. His journey began in the dynamic realm of Research and Development, where he dedicated the first years of his career at a startup, refining his skills and moving on to the sales role. In 2023, he embarked on a new venture with Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America, assuming the role of Senior Account Manager for the European Fluid Management Division. Although the European offices are located in Cologne, Germany, he’s based in the picturesque city of Munich. His responsibilities extend across North- and East-Central Europe, as well as Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
