C&D / TFF Systems

Cleavage & Deprotection (C&D) and Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration (UF/DF) are vital to oligo manufacturing. We’ve optimized both processes by combining them into one patent-pending, automated system. This design saves floorspace, completing C&D and UF/DF steps in quick succession before Purification. Our standard THESYS C&D/TFF includes advanced controls, ergonomic design, integrated tank, and OCELOT® System Control software, maximizing efficiency and safety.

Integrated Dual-Use Tank

The tank required for both unit operations is integrated into the skid, leaving no need to take up space with a separate piece of equipment. The tank for the C&D/TFF contains a minimum working volume of 260L, liquid jacket and insulation, an agitator, Hastelloy C22 construction with stainless jacket/sheathing, and carries a 10 barg pressure rating.
